Ronald "Ron" Dean Knepp, 74, of Marlette, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Marlette Regional Hospital.
Ron was born on August 7, 1950 to Dean and Eleanor Knepp, in South Bend, Indiana. He married Frances DeClercq at the St. Rose Catholic Church of Detroit on November 22, 1969. Ron was a member of the United States Air Force. He served as an Ammo Troop for the Air Force until he retired in 1991. Ron was known to be a very hands-on guy and was always tinkering. Whether it was wood working or building projects, he always found a way to be working with his hands. When Ron wasn't tinkering or building he could be found out in the wilderness hunting or fishing.
Ron is survived by his wife, Frances (DeClercq) Knepp; daughters, Connie (Tim) Holt, Heather (Craig) Newman, Carrie Orvin, Hope (Rob) Morphew; grandchildren, Dean, Garrett, Faith, Sara-Danielle, Madelaine, Christian, Nathan, Gracie, and great-grandchild, Artemis.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cheryl and Patricia; mother-in-law, Margaret; and father-in-law, Anthony.
