Ronald Mills Obituary

Ronald Paul Mills, 73, of Stephenson, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at his residence. 

Born March 5, 1951, at Basin, he was the son of the late James Edward Mills, Sr. and Hester Marie (McKinney) Mills. 

Ron was a former coal miner and was a member of UMWA. He was the owner of Ron’s Construction and Ron’s Used Auto Parts. He was an all around “jack of all trades”. Ron loved to socialize. If he met a stranger, they weren’t a stranger long, they were his friend. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Ann Mills; and sister-in-law, Lynn Mills. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Susie J. (Foley) Mills; two daughters, Kimberly Graham and her husband, Marty and Amanda Mills and her companion, Kevin Reed; two grandchildren, Ryan and Megan Graham; four great grandchildren, Rylan, Jaxson, Ellie, and Ryker; two brothers, Eddie Mills and Steven Mills and his wife, Melina; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, November 22, 2024, at the John H. McKinney Cemetery, Basin with Richard McKinney officiating. 

For those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery. 

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
