Ron Wilson, 72, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
Born and raised in Bellefontaine, he was a man of few words, known for his simple and kind nature. He cherished his family deeply and always found peace in the small joys of life.
Ron was an enormous fan of Ohio State football and the Cleveland Browns, always rooting for his favorite teams, win or lose. His passion for the Buckeyes and Browns was a big part of who he was and brought him countless hours of enjoyment.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 20, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. We would love for anyone who knew Ron to join us in remembering his life.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Jo Welch Wilson and their daughter Stephanie Lynn (Josh Dickinson) Wilson, his brother, Sid (Pam) Wilson, and sister, Patricia Kay Wilson. He was previously married to Pamper Vannoy Wright, with whom he shared two daughters: Chasity Elaine Wilson and Latrisha Savoy Wilson (Eden) Hernandez. He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Clarissa Evonne Gonzales (Kostas) Tsoumbos, Enrique W (Lauren) Gonzales IV, Katlynn Celeste Whitmire, Tazia Raye Dickinson, Dravin Tyler J Dickinson, and Reagan Kayelynn Dickinson, as well as two great-granddaughters, Kensley Kay Canton and Elyanna Sofia Tsoumbos, all of whom brought him endless happiness; Goddaughter, Brittany Large; Rayden Large and Aries Large, who were like grandchildren to him. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Ann Wilson Brown Austin Voorhees, Vicki Lynn Wilson Page, and his brother, Bruce Edward Wilson.
His family will miss him dearly, holding on to the many fond memories they shared with him.
