Ronnie Glenn Poole Sr., a beloved husband, father, papa, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on November 28, 1951, to the late Mattie Mae Parler Poole and the late Brice Poole. Ronnie was a man who dedicated his life to his family, his work, and his faith. His devotion to those he loved and his unwavering optimism in the face of adversity left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Ronnie was a proud and hardworking man who spent many years working in construction and farming, building not just structures, but a legacy of dedication and perseverance. But above all, his greatest joy was always his family. In 1972, Ronnie married the love of his life, Peggy Poole, and together, they shared 53 years of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Their bond was an example to all who witnessed it-a true testament to the power of commitment and love.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Poole, his four children: daughter Robin Kyzer (Mike Kyzer), daughter Sabrina Romero (Juan Romero), son Ronnie Glenn Poole Jr. (Melissa Poole), and Emerson Young. He leaves behind a legacy of ten grandchildren: Shane Kyzer (Tabitha Kyzer), Alexandra Kyzer, the late Cody Kyzer, Joshua Holmes, Veronica Stafford (Shaun Stafford), Jason Holmes (Zayna Holmes), Amanda Poole, Gracie Poole, Brandi Gardener, and Brittney Kyzer. Ronnie's family grew with the addition of nine great-grandchilden Aaylah Goff, Gaige Nunn, Derrick Nunn, Braden Goff, Jenna Holmes, Clayton Wallace, Wyatt Holmes (Wildman), Dawson Holmes, and Mattie Mae Stafford. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Janice Poole and Kathy Pilot. Ronnie was the last living sibling of 4, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Blaine Henison Poole, Sr. and Brice Lanier Poole, and his sister, Helen Rawls.

Ronnie's love for life was evident in all he did. He found joy in the simple pleasures-riding horses, hunting, and making others laugh with his lighthearted jokes. He was also a devoted member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church, where he found comfort in his faith and the community of his church family. Ronnie attended services whenever he could, always eager to share a smile and embrace the fellowship of those around him. He especially enjoyed visiting Sherry Eidson at the insurance office, where he would often joke around and bring a little humor into her day.

Despite facing numerous health challenges, Ronnie faced each day with strength, courage, and a heart full of optimism. His battle with illness never took away his spirit; if anything, it only amplified his unwavering determination to live fully and love deeply. Ronnie's resilience was an inspiration to all, and his positivity was contagious, leaving a legacy that will continue to guide and inspire his family and friends.

Ronnie's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He was a man who understood the importance of family, faith, and laughter-a man whose love for others was evident in every action he took. He may no longer be with us in body, but his spirit will continue to guide us, and his legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Ronnie's memory be made to Rocky Grove Baptist Church – Ramp Ministry.

A celebration of Ronnie's life will be held at Rocky Grove Baptist Church Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Visitation will be 1 pm to 2 pm and the funeral service will begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. John O'Cain will be ministering to the family.

Rest in peace, Ronnie. You will forever be loved, cherished, and missed by all who had the honor of knowing you.
