Beverly Becker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory on Oct. 1, 2025.
Beverly A. Becker, of Fox Lake, IL, passed away on September 24, 2025.
She was born on September 10, 1939 in Chicago, IL to parents John and Stella (Wozniak) Spiewak.
Beverly was known by all who loved her as a true social butterfly, someone who could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and make them feel like a friend. Her sense of humor and lighthearted spirit brought joy to every room she entered.
Bev had a few favorite rituals that perfectly captured her personality, including grabbing a large Diet Coke and driving around Fox Lake. Bev was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies, and while she was admittedly afraid of the water, nothing made her happier than relaxing on the pontoon boat and being on the lake. She also cherished her time spent up north in Wisconsin, creating memories with family and friends.
Always polished and put together, she never left the house without "putting her face on," making sure her hair and nails were done just so. She will be remembered not only for her style, but for her warmth, humor, and her gift of connecting with others.
Beverly leaves behind her daughter Debi Lindelof, sons Don (Robin) Becker and Dan (Denise Moze) Becker, and grandchildren, Dana Lindelof, Derrik Lindelof, Emily Becker, Erin Becker, and Caleigh Becker, and her brother-in-law Ed Ryder.
Beverly is preceded in death by both of her parents John and Stella Spiewak and her sister Florence Ryder.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Beverly, please visit our floral store.
