Rosemary Anne Keegan, 87, of Cornwall, Pennsylvania, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed to her heavenly reward on November 27, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories.
Rosemary was born in Honeoye Falls, New York; and, spent all her growing-up years in that area. Of the 19 graduates in her local high school class, she was the only female to move away and attend college. She graduated in 1959 from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York where she met Frank, her devoted husband of 64 years. She graduated with a Batchelor of Science in Sociology and worked for the Onondaga County Welfare Department managing family case services including home visitation and nursing home placements. In 1967, Rosemary was co-chair of the Rutherford, New Jersey Junior Woman's Club Public Welfare committee. In 1971, she served as President of the Pierrepont School PTA in Rutherford. Later, Rosemary earned her Real Estate license in Atlanta and was a Realtor in Georgia for 20 years. She enjoyed being a member of the choir at Mary, Mother of the Church in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania and most recently a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Annville. Gardening, reading and home decorating were some of Rosemary's hobbies.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Frank, sons Kevin and wife Deborah of Belmont, Massachusetts and Bryan and wife Arianne of Rosedale, Maryland, granddaughters Katrina and Aliza and grandsons Christopher, Colin, Jonathan and Jack, her brother, David and wife Lyn of Lima, New York, a brother-in-law Robert of Greer of South Carolina and a sister in-law Eileen and brother-in-law Michael of Alexandria, Virginia.
She is predeceased by her parents Philip Swartz and Esther Swartz and grandson Andrew Keegan.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11AM from St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville. Private graveside services will be held at the Hershey cemetery.
