Roy Singleton Obituary
Roy James “Cowboy” Singleton, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Marlene A. Singelton; cherished son of the late Joseph Singleton and the late Anna B. Frink; devoted father of Sherry (Steven) Graf, Cynthia (Keith) Lawrence, and the late Kimberly Spangler (surviving husband Dan); loving grandfather of Michael (Amie) Spangler, Kayla (Shawn) Schomburg, Christopher Graf, Amber (Alec Belue - fiancé) Lawrence, and Cara Lawrence; treasured great grandfather of Grace, River, and Arya Schomburg; dear brother of JoAnn Phegley and Betty Lou (Bob) Presser; treasured uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Roy was an avid sports fan, always cheering on his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. He found joy in time spent at his lake home, a place he truly cherished. Known for his generous spirit, he will be fondly remembered for his parting words whenever friends or family visited: "Let me know if you need anything!” Roy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
