Ruth Marie Hartman, 90 years young of 1300 Overlook Drive, Weirton WV passed away at home with her family at her side on 2/20/2025. Ruth was born in Salem WV on 10/14/1934. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde E Varner and Audrey (Marie) Varner; her grandson Harry Ciccarelli III in 2014. Ruth was also preceded in death by her first husband Harry Ciccarelli in 1966 and second husband Michael B Hartman in 2013. Ruth was blessed with four children. Debbie Little of Port Charlotte, Florida. Harry J. (Lynne) Ciccarelli II of Weirton. Karen (Keith) Huntzinger of Weirton, WV. and Michael (Beth) Hartman of Youngstown OH. She had 11 grandchildren Steve (Heather) Little, Scott Little, Sara (Dan) Pulice, Lauren (Brian) Vance, Heather Patrick, Michael D. Hartman, Jacob (Alleigh) Huntzinger, Nick Hartman, Joseph Huntzinger, Grace Huntzinger and 9 great-grandchildren Caroline Pulice, Aaron Little, George Little, Drew Little, Syncere Stevenson, Kaylie Little, Ben Little, Kate Little and Freya Vance.
Ruth graduated from Follansbee High School in 1952 as Valedictorian. Ruth loved to cook, always made sure everyone had enough to eat and was known for her wonderful nut rolls and homemade spaghetti sauce. Her smile and her loving, caring nature will forever be an inspiration to all of us.
A Celebration of Ruth's life will take place on Sunday 2/23/2025. The doors will open at 2 pm and the service will begin at 2:30 pm at Cove Presbyterian Church, 3404 Main Street Weirton, WV. The service will be officiated by Roger Criss. Friends and Family are invited to a gathering following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be donated in Ruth's name to the Community Bread Basket at 3545 Pennsylvania Ave. Weirton, WV 26062.
