Samuel Scott Obituary

Samuel Pryse Scott Jr., age 77, of Wisemantown Road in Irvine, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Marcum and Wallace Hpsoital following a short illness. He was born September 5, 1948, in Estill County, and was the son of the late Samuel Pryse Scott Sr. and Francis Lilly Embry Scott. He retired from CSX and he was of the Christian Faith. Samuel loved his family and friends, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He had lived in Estill County for most of his life. He is survived by :

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Barbara Tipton.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, October 15, 1 PM, at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Skip Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12 to 1 PM.
