Every year Bob sent Roses to Penny for Valentines Day. I missed that call this year. I believe you are floating on a big puffy cloud surrounded by hundreds of red roses from all of us who love you and miss you so much. More like thousands!!

Gracious. Penny was kind, loving, generous, intelligent, talented and so many good things, but most of all, Gracious.
I met Penney, so long ago, I think 1974. Our children played together. She and my neighbor invited me to run with them every morning at 5:30, and of course sometimes end up at Penny's magic table having coffee and talking till the kids had to get up. At the end of the day I would find my boys in her basement All the kids love Penny the most. So did I.
I don't believe there is anyone in this world that I admired more. She sincerely cared for eveyone in her orbit. God broke the mold after he made her because there has never been another one like her. I am so blessed to have had her in my life. I love her dearly, and always will.
See you soon sweet girl.

A most significant presence in my early adulthood, she was my labor coach when my son Joel was born and had Sarah 9 months later. The children were close most of thier childhoods and many years of family dinners and shared celebrations were had. Afternoons and late nights were common at her kitchen table and the advice and support she gave me prepared me to heal from childhood neglect and trauma. We shared a common faith and love of the Episcopal church and hosted prayer groups. She has always remained in my heart and my prayers. I will always love her .

Penny was a dear friend and co-instructor for our Life and Career Options program at clackamas community college. We walked together for our masters graduation at Lewis and Clark college and enjoyed both a personal and professional friendship for many years. My condolences to her family and friends - penny was an incredible woman, who touched so many lives including my own. Rest in peace dear friend and God bless!
