Sandra “Sandy” Bondegard, 64, of Lodgepole passed away Saturday, December 16. 2023 in Longmont.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Lodgepole Community Service with a gathering of family and friends to follow until 3:00 pm. Burial in the Pleasant View Cemetery will be held at a later date.
The funeral service will be streamed live via the Holechek-Bondegard Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/hbfunerals) and available to watch after the service.
Memorials in Sandy’s name can be made to Lodgepole Fire Department or the Lodgepole United Methodist Church.

Sandra Lee was born February 9, 1959, in Chappell to Gilbert and Janice (Booth) Christensen. She grew up in Chappell and attended school there graduating in 1977. After high school, she went to work for her mom at Jan’s Coffee Cup. Throughout the years, she cooked at many different restaurants in the area.
She was united in marriage to Jimmie Bondegard on March 12, 1981. They welcomed Brandon Lloyd in April 1981 and James Joseph in March of 1986.
Sandy enjoyed kids, crocheting, reading, cooking, especially enchiladas, but above all she loved her family, keeping track of all her nieces and nephews through Facebook and phone calls. Her favorite times were visits from friends and her grand-furbabies.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie of Lodgepole; 2 sons, Brandon (Amy) Bondegard of Sidney and James (Paula) Bondegard of Oshkosh; siblings, Donald Christensen and Debbie Christensen; special friends, Mary Jo and Terry Klinetobe; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Christensen and Janice (Jerry) McGowan; sisters, Susan and Brenda; and her kitty Callie.
