Shannon Douglas Heintzelman, age 51, of Lyons, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born on June 29, 1973, the son of Ronald and Sandy (Esham) Heintzelman in Ionia, MI.
Shannon enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He loved riding his motorcycle, camping with the horses, bonfires and gatherings with friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Sandy Heintzelman of Ionia; brother, Shane (Jessica) Heintzelman of Ionia; sisters, Shawn (Paul) Frisbie of Ionia, Shasta (Ken) Cole of Ionia and Shalyn Heintzelman (Tom Cummings) of Nashville; nieces and nephews, Cheyanne (Josh) Henderson, Trent Heintzelman (Kylie Poling), Morgan VanNortrick (Will Selleck), Braeden VanNortrick, Sierra Heintzelman, Jenna VanNortrick (Luke Ruge), Sean Heintzelman, Riley Frisbie, Teagan Frisbie, Wyatt Cummings; and great nieces and nephews, Asher Henderson, Collins Henderson, Lillian Lautenbach and Finnick Heintzelman.
He is preceded in death by his father, uncles and grandparents.
Cremation has taken place, and services will be held at a later date. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. In leu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association. You may mail donations to the funeral home if needed.
