Shantell was born in Enumclaw, Washington, and grew up with a love for the outdoors. She graduated from Dimond High School in Anchorage, Alaska. In 2006, she married Brad Debner and moved to Keosauqua, Iowa, where they started their family. After they divorced, Shantell called both Iowa and Alaska home, holding various positions in each place. She found happiness on the water, especially boating, fishing, and kayaking.
She is survived by her children, Joseph, Aden, and Brooklynn Debner of Fairfield, Iowa; her mother, Debbie Media; her brother, Jason Media, and his son Bo Media, of Ninilchik, Alaska; her sister, Kristen Reed; and her grandmother, Shirley Aden; along with many extended family members and friends.
Shantell is proceeded in death by her father, Paul Media.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her children's college fund at Libertyville Savings Bank. Friends may leave online condolences at www.cranstonfamilyfuneralhome.com.
