Sharen Kay (Beach) Dawkins was born to Bobby Wayne Beach and Mattie Alberta (Fauver) Beach, on April 18, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on October 28, 2024, in Binger, Oklahoma, at the age of 63.
Sharen has been a resident of the Binger area for most of her life. She was a graduate of the Binger High School class of 1979. Sharen attended Southwestern College in Weatherford. Sharen was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church.
Sharen pursued many different occupations in her time, including, Atec and Southwestern Bell for a few years. She eventually found her love for delivering mail and she worked for the United States Post Office for 27 years.
Sharen married Homer Wayne Dawkins and together they adopted three children. Her family was the love of her life.
Sharen enjoyed going to garage sales, the casino, and playing bingo in her free time. She was also obsessed with frogs and all things yellow.
Sharen is survived by her children, Blaine Dawkins, Colten Dawkins, and Ashley Dawkins; her sister, Karen and husband Johnny Keller, and grandchildren, Granger Dale Smith and Levi Wayne Smith.
Sharen is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Mattie Beach, and her husband, Wayne Dawkins.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
Services for Sharen are set to begin at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Canaan Baptist Church located at 17092 County Street 2730 Minco, Oklahoma. She will be laid to rest at the Binger Cemetery following the service.
Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
