Sharie Villierme (Waters) Peck, 81, of Sonora, California, passed away on October 21, 2025 and now resides with her savior, Jesus.

Born in March of 1944 in Brisbane, California, to Frank and Clementine Villierme, Sharie grew up with a bright spirit and a natural warmth that stayed with her throughout her life. She was known for her ready sense of humor, her strong family values, and her remarkable ability to make friends wherever she went. People were drawn to her kindness, her quick wit, and the genuine interest she took in others.

Sharie moved to Sonora in 1976, where she quickly became an active and familiar presence in the community. With her five children-Mark Waters, Erik Waters, Dena Waters Canaday, Sean Waters, and Rene Waters Keeling-she was involved in countless school, church, sports, and community groups over the years. Her enthusiasm, reliability, and warm spirit made her a welcome addition to every organization she joined. Many remember her as the parent who was always ready to help, encourage, and bring a bit of humor to any gathering.

Sharie's nieces and nephews meant the world to her, and she cherished the close bonds she shared with each of them. Just as deeply, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, finding immense joy in watching them grow, celebrating their milestones, and surrounding them with her unwavering love.

Sharie was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joan Bell of Newman, California; and her daughter, Dena Canaday of Soulsbyville, California.
