With profound sadness we announce the passing of Sharon Louise Angel, a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to all whose lives she touched. She passed peacefully, January 29, 2025, surrounded by family.
Born in Toledo, OH, September 21, 1950, Sharon lived a larger than life, life. She loved dancing, and live music. She enjoyed going out with her sisters, her daughters, and her closet friends and later in life one of her greatest joys was being with her granddaughters and taking them on all of her exciting and fun adventures. Her wild spirit and boisterous laugh lit up every room. Her favorite past times included quilting, reading, antiquing, road tripping with her entire family to the annual Michigan family reunion, watching boxing, listening to music and her absolute favorite band the Beatles, going to parades and fairs (where she won many blue ribbons for her intricate and beautiful quilts), she adored holidays and hosting. Sharon treasured creating special and memorable moments and events for her family and all the neighborhood children and friends. She was revered by everyone, as Grandma Sharon. She took great pride in her home, gardens and welcomed all and every bird she could feed. To even the point, of ignoring her needs to buy bird seed. But that's the Sharon/Mom/Grandma that we know. She was giving to a fault and would open her door to anyone in need. She was a strong, outspoken, and protective Irish woman. Always reminding us to always stand up for ourselves and others; "Put on your gorilla suit and be strong!"- Sharon Angel
Sharon leaves behind her daughters Eveline "Renee" and Rachelle Angel; cherished grandmother of Lauren and Meagan Kloepffer and Kennedy (Melvin) Carrion; proud great grandmother of Theo, Charlotte, Cliona, Wynston and Enzo; loving sister of Susan Rogers; adored neighbor of Tiffany, Tara, Trista.
"Here's to strong woman, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them"- Amy Rees Anderson
A private event will be held in Sharons honor, February 23rd, 2025.
