Shaun Ray Smith, 45, of Fort Mill, SC, formerly of Bessemer City, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born on September 11, 1978, in Gaston County
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Kaye Neal; grandmother, Lily Mae Neal; and sister, Pamela Smith.
Shaun loved baseball, the 49’ers, shooting pool and playing horseshoes. He loved his family and enjoyed living life to the fullest.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Lisa Smith; children, Whitney, Josh, & Dylan Hamilton, Kayla Brice (Trey), and Zanthony, Shay, & Ethan Simmons; brother and sister-in-law William John Hamilton (Kristy); brothers, Eddie Smith (Chas), John Smith (Jada), David Smith and Bobby Simmons; sister, Tina Welch; grandchildren, Khoen and Kyan; along with a number of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
The visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
Burial will be held at a later date.
