Sidney Lawrence Obituary
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Kellie, his parents Leslie and Alma Lawrence, his loving daughters Scarlett and Teddy Lawrence, his sister Linda Gail Lawrence, his brothers Bobby, David, and Doug, great grandchild, Nolan Hudgins and his beloved niece Belinda Lewis.
Sid is survived by his pride and joy - his daughter, known to most as LaDonna, but to him always his Chrissy (Carroll) Dent, as well as his brothers Larry and Jerry Lawrence. He was the proud "Pappy" to his grandchildren Dustin, Corey, Destiny "Pooh" (Brandon), Kellie "Kell Kell" (Mitch), Tyler, Waco, and Ryan, and to many great-grandchildren who were truly the center of his whole world. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Sid was a devoted member of Straightway Holiness Church, where his faith and kindness touched many. To know Sid was to love him. He had the heart of a lion and a spirit that could light up any room. He never met a stranger and had a heart bigger than life itself. He would gladly give his last dollar or the shirt off his back to help someone in need. His generosity, humor, and love for his family will never be forgotten.
A special thanks to Hearth Hospice, his niece Angie Early, and nephew Little Bobby Lawrence for being by his side and providing comfort and care during his final days.
There truly wasn't another like him - one of a kind in every way.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Troy Simmons officiating.
