Stephen W. DeConcini, age 72, of Glen Carbon, died at 11:10 p.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1953 in Highland, IL, the son of the late Albert J. and Rebecca (Martini) DeConcini.
Besides his parents, Steve was preceded in death by two brothers: Albert DeConcini and David "Bob" DeConcini; two sisters-in-law: Carol DeConcini and Cindy Hughes; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Mary Jane Hughes; and a nephew, Ryan Stolcis.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Sheila (Huffman) DeConcini; two brothers: Dennis (Donna) DeConcini of Glen Carbon and Michael (Carla) DeConcini of Glen Carbon; one sister, Sandy Stolcis of Glen Carbon; four sisters-in-law: Sherian DeConcini of Edwardsville, Debbie (Bob) Ajemian of Glen Carbon, Crystal (Nick) Andres of Florida and Diane (Jerry) Sedy of Kimberlin City, MO; one brother-in-law, Billy Hughes of Maryville; his "Special Girl" Hannah Dalton of Florida; his special side-companion, PedieRose; his special friends, Jerry and Becky Lemonds of Collinsville; and many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Calvary Life Church, 4650 Maryville Road, Granite City, IL. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
