Susan Alsup Obituary
Susan Stratton Alsup was born on Christmas Eve of 1947 and passed away November 1, 2024, in Gallatin Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Edward Stratton and Hildred Maddox Stratton, and by her sister, Sandra Slowey.
She is survived by her loving husband, Horace Benjamin (HB) Alsup; her daughter Sonia Scalf (Matthew Sample), and nephews Andrew Alsup, Brian Barger, and Ed Slowey.
She spent most of her working life as a registered nurse in both hospitals and home health.
Susan was a lover of the natural and the animal world, especially her cats. She enjoyed yard work, tending her flowers, hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to the Anderson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, Gallatin.
