A private gathering and memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Susan Jordan, 90, of Kingston died Wednesday February 12, 2025 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus. She was born January 6, 1935 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Wood) Herzog.
Susan was an accomplished tennis player who enjoyed summers playing at Callabar Club in Kingston, organizing local leagues and participating in tournaments throughout the Hudson Valley. In addition, she was an avid skier that traveled to resorts worldwide and spent many winters in Utah, skiing well into her 80's. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with family, whether it be at family gatherings or being present for her children's or grandchildren's activities and sporting events.
Surviving are her children Elizabeth (Betsy) Jordan and her husband Tom Polk, David Jordan and his wife Claudia, Bradley Jordan and his wife Patricia, Todd Jordan and his wife Julie, grandchildren Paul and Louise Polk, Thomas and Antonia Jordan, Taylor (Ryan DeAngelis) and Bradley Jordan, Jr., Brent (Stephanie), Cole (Victoria), Reid and Bailey Jordan, great grandchildren Marin, Wesley and Otis. A sister Nancy Evans and her husband Chick as well as a nephew Robert Alexander also survive.
In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her partner of over 40 years Michael Stasko, who she lived with for many years in Denver, NY and her first husband, Paul Jordan Jr.
