Susie Humphries Obituary
She was a member of Milford Baptist Church since 1965 and met many lifelong friends there.
Susie and her husband Robert were members of The Georgia Conservancy. They enjoyed going on tours and hikes together throughout the Barrier Islands.
She also loved gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert Lee Humphries and brother, Lamb Davis.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan Humphries and Mike Creech of Lithia Springs; sister, Gail Childers of Cartersville; nieces, Cynthia Appling Farmer and Connie Appling McSwain both of Cartersville.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 1:30 PM at Milford Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Howard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Susie's name to The Georgia Conservancy at 230 Peachtree Street NW, Suite 2275 Atlanta, GA 30303.
