Sylvia Baxter Obituary
Sylvia Darlene Baxter, age 66, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. She was born September 16, 1958 in Madisonville, KY to the late Letcher Earl “Red” Gentry and Helen Mae Swatzell Gentry. Mrs. Baxter worked for many years in housekeeping at Dawson Springs Health Care and was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Prayer Chapel.
She is survived by her husband of forty-one years ~ Mike Baxter of Dawson Springs, KY; a daughter ~ Joy Beth Baxter of Dawson Springs, KY; a sister ~ Linda Kay Gentry of Dawson Springs, KY and one grandson ~ Darrell Wayne Baxter.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a graveside service for Sylvia Darlene Baxter on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Walnut Grove Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Rev. Robert Allen officiating.
