Taeko Riddle Obituary
Born in Maebashi, Japan, she was a daughter of the late Masao Takagi and Yae Tanaka. Mrs. Riddle was a former teacher at a dress making school in Tokyo and retired from Alcoa Fujikura in Duncan, SC. A member of First Baptist Church, Taeko had a passion for Origami and was proud to have learned this skill under Master Akira Yoshizawa of Japan.
She is survived by her three children, Jerry Riddle of Laurens, Margaret Renslen of Denver, CO and Carol Satate and husband Kenichi of Harrison, NY; and two grandchildren, Dylan Renslen and Julian Satate.
The family will receive friends at the Kennedy Mortuary on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Warrior Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Tim Marsh.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 300 West Main Street, Laurens, SC 29360.
