Tamara Kay Pace, a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend passed away in her home August 23, 2024, in Columbus Ohio, at the age of 49. Born on December 19, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio, Tamara spent her life caring for people around her with a giving heart that will be truly missed.

Preceded in death by Paternal Father Paul Pace Jr., Grandparents Paul Pace Sr. ,Dorothy Pace, Nephew Paul Mykael D. Pace, Maternal Grandparents, Willie C Slate ,Oneida -Cooper Slate. Survived by Mother Jacqueline-Slate-Pace-Smith Daughters Marika D.(Alex) Pace - Fehr, Erin S. Cobb, Brothers, Paul P Pace, David C. (Traci) Pace, Preston Smith lll, Sister Rochelle Woody and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tamara attended both private and public schools. She loved to run track in school. She enjoyed watching a variety of sports, and playing pranks on her children. Some of her best memories surrounded her jobs at nursing homes and assisted living facilities, caring for the sick and elderly. Her kind and giving heart would supersede her own needs. 

Her memory will be honored with a viewing and funeral to follow at 11am at Sanctuary Columbus Church on September 5, 2024. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes and Cremation Services.
