It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a beacon of love and support, Terance Paul "Terry" Berger, born to Louis and Mary Berger on January 14, 1955, in Los Angeles, California. Known for his unwavering loyalty and reliability, Terry touched lives with his generous spirit and compassionate heart. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." Terry lived this truth every day of his life.
For over two decades, Terry was a resident of Ogden, Utah, where he enhanced the community as a dedicated handyman until his retirement in 2016. He was not just a handyman by profession, but a 'handy man' in every sense of the word, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His uncanny ability to fix anything broken was not limited to objects but people as well. He was a pillar of strength in our lives, a man whose kindness knew no bounds. Terry's dedication to hard work and his unwavering support for others will forever be remembered. His legacy is a testament to the power of compassion, generosity, and the belief that everyone's happiness mattered.
Terry was the loving father of Kimberly Berger Robertson and Kerri Berger, the doting grandfather to Ciara Partee, Kerra Bond, Aubri Robertson, Kamryn Robertson, and Layla Berger. He also leaves behind his sister, Roberta Jenkins, his brother, Jack Huddle, his nieces and nephews, his little dog 'Lily', and the numerous friends that he made while staying at Three Links Towers to cherish his memory. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Berger. To quote Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Terry made us all feel loved, supported, and valued, a testament to his loving, loyal, and reliable nature.
