Terry A. Mellenberger, 75, of Benton, Wisconsin, passed away Monday October 20, 2025, at home. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cuba City, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held from 4-5:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.
Terry was born on December 12, 1949 to Ted and Ruth (Nall) Mellenberger. He graduated from Blackhawk High School and earned his Master’s Degree in industrial engineering and economics from UW-Platteville. Terry was united in marriage to Rosemere Santos on April 30, 1996.
Terry worked in quality control management for several businesses including Monroe Trucking and John Deere Tractor Works. He enjoyed beekeeping, playing with his dogs, hunting, trap shooting and guns. He also enjoyed watching Westerns, Wisconsin Badgers football and basketball, and the Milwaukee Bucks. Above all, Terry enjoyed spending time with his children, including attending their sporting events and watching episodes of “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” together. Terry will be remembered for being extremely thoughtful, independent and stubborn.
Terry is survived by his wife, Rosemere Mellenberger, Benton, WI; his children, Shawn (Ashley Markoff) Mellenberger, Platteville, WI, Farah Adams, Cuba City, WI, Shannon (fiancée, Emelie Fischer) Mellenberger, and Brianna (fiancé, Tyler Jurgovan) Mellenberger, both of Benton, WI; five grandchildren, Ryan Mellenberger, Chase Mellenberger, Mariah (Joe) Gill, Kaden Adams and Avari Adams; one great-grandchild, Conrad Gill; and three siblings, Mark (Sally) Mellenberger, Robin Fox and Shelley (Dan) Lange.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Brad Adams; and a brother-in-law, Dave Stahlnecker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Terry’s name may be sent to Casey-McNett Funeral Home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Edwards-Bennett and the staff of SSM Health Monroe Cancer Center for their care of Terry.
