Terry continued....Terry was fond of Chinese philosopher Confucius and his one liners, and always a good joke. Terry was a carpenter by trade...but a baseball/softball player in his heart. As Terry was running "the bases of life , the fiery redhead" never shied away from a challenge, and that helped shape the person he became. Heroes come in various forms, sports idols (think Mickey Mantle), movie stars, and even politicians, BUT regular people can be, and are real life heroes as well. Terry was a hero to many people. Terry, my brother, if you can hear me now....you are rounding 3rd base and heading for Home...hope to see you, with your arm around Mickey...ON THE OTHER SIDE!!

We first met on Oak Hill's baseball field...nearly 60 years ago, and that started a friendship that has endured the test of time.
Terry was a unique person, a warrior in a sense, a person of intellect who used it well. Terry's priorities were always family first, and he will be missed-not only by the family he cherished, but many others as well. Terry was always so proud
to see his children and grandchildren achieving success, not only in the sports world, but in life as well. Family gathering were the "coup de gra", as he would say, BUTT not when he was shot in the rear end with a bottle rocket on July 4th.
