Texas Youngblood Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home on Oct. 12, 2024.
It is with deep regrets that we share the passing of Texas Wayne Youngblood, 76, of San Antonio, Texas on October 8, 2024. Tex, as he was affectionately called by his friends and family was born October 24, 1947 in Merced, California to Ralph Laverne Youngblood and Bettina Aurora (Basile) Youngblood. Dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. Tex loved the outdoors, especially fishing with those that meant the most to him and could often be found exploring the beauty of nature and was an avid animal lover. In his life, Tex was an athlete, scholar and over all charismatic friend. His absence will be felt forever by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, compassion and strength will live on in the hearts of those he touched. Rest in peace Texas, we love you.
Tex was preceded in death by his father Ralph and mother Bettina. He is survived by his wife Janis, son Jason Youngblood (wife Lisa), son Travis Youngblood(wife Yvonne) and son Todd Youngblood. His brother Frank Youngblood (wife Corrine), sister Eva (Terry) Slight (husband Russ), and brother Tim Youngblood (wife Cheryl). Tex is also survived by stepson Darren Patrick (wife Julie) and stepdaughter Pansy Sagle (husband Dan).
Tex will be greatly missed by grandchildren Kaitlyn Youngblood, Mia Youngblood, Tyler Youngblood, Keaton Patrick, Kolton Patrick, Caris Patrick, Cashtyn Patrick, Logan Sagle (wife Andrea), Dr. Savannah Sagle, Landon Sagle (wife Abby) and Sheradyn as well as many nephews and a niece and many friends.
