Thomas Holloway Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore-Cortner Funeral Home - Winchester on Nov. 15, 2024.
Thomas Gregg Holloway passed away suddenly in Gainesville, Florida on November 8th, 2024, at 68. He was Predeceased by his father, Phineas Taylor (P.T.) Holloway, mother, Vera Mae Wiser Holloway, brother, P.T. Holloway Jr., and son, Thomas Adrian Holloway. He was survived by his daughter, Lauren Holloway Boals (Jason), and sisters, Martha Holloway Fate and Tricia Holloway. Grandchildren, McKinley, Hudson, Layton, Pressley, Piper, Ryleigh Holloway Barnes (Zach), and Ellie Holloway. Great-grandchildren, John Luke and Jordy Vance Barnes. His fiancé and first love, Kathy Caldwell. Gregg had an entrepreneurial heart and found success in many of his endeavors. His interests include restoring antique cars, raising and showing Andalusian horses, and spending time with his beloved German shepherds. He was an avid learner, gifted musician and songwriter, lover of fine food, and an American History buff. Gregg enjoyed spending time on the beach, growing roses, and "Guinness Book of World Records" worthy Okra. During football season you could catch him watching his favorite college football team, the Tennessee Volunteers. Those who knew Gregg will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. Gregg will be laid to rest next to his mother during a graveside service, on Saturday, November 16th at 2 pm with his closest family and friends in attendance.
Though his physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
