Gary was born December 5,1948 in Wellston, MO to the late Curtis and Jane Bennett nee Lindopp.
He is survived by his son, Curtis (Melisa) Bennett of Warrenton, MO; daughter, Tina Bennett of Montgomery City, MO; brother, Mark (Shari) Bennett; sister, Penny Boden of Troy, MO; companion Karen Bennett; four grandsons, Nicholas (Sarah) Bennett, Jason Bennett, Kain Martin, Zachary Jennerjohn; three granddaughters, Krysten Bennett, Natasha Bennett, Stephanie (Todd) Thomas; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald Bennett, sister, Lillian Bennett, brother-in-law, Robert Boden.
Gary owned and operated New Image Barber in Warrenton for 46 years, was a barber for 55 years. Gary loved being a barber and thought the world of his customers over the many years. Gary adored his family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a huge Elvis Presley fanatic and loved watching old westerns. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Per Gary's wishes, there will not be a service held. Please share the many stories and memories here for the family and friends to read.
