Thomas J. Whitby, 67, of Breinigsville, passed away on October 23, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John Levi and Gloria (Schwartz) Whitby. Tom and his wife, Christine (Muth) Whitby, were together for the past 47 years and married for the past 39 years. He was a truck driver for 42 years, last working for Frantz Brothers Trucking in Northampton. He was an army veteran of the Vietnam war. Tom enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle with his wife.
Survivors: Wife; Brothers, Kenneth, Terry and Keith "Scott" Whitby; Sisters, Gloria Herman and Patricia Rhoads; Nieces and Nephews. Thomas was predeceased by his brother, John Whitby, Jr.
Services: There will be no services at this time. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory at https://donate.cancer.org.

"A Vietnam Veteran has passed away today." Tom, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow Vietnam Veteran. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
