Timmy Joe was an auto mechanic and believed in the Baptist faith. He enjoyed attending drag races and tinkering with cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ray Smith.
Survivors include his loving sister, Janet Smith of Girdler; former spouse, Penny Smith of Artemus; step-children, Brittany Smith and fiancé, Josh Williamson, of London, Nathan Daniels and wife, Brittany, of Girdler and Eric Daniels and Adam Smith of Hinkle; step-grandchildren, Noah Williams, Aubrey and Franklin Daniels; among other loved ones and dear friends.
His funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Tuesday, December 10 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Owens officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Deaton Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday after 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
The family kindly requests donations to help cover funeral expenses. Contributions can be made directly to the funeral home.
