Todd E. Camp, 62, of the Plantsville section of Southington and formerly of Meriden, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Todd was born on June 25, 1962 in Meriden, CT and graduated from Wilcox Technical School, Class of 1980. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy and proudly served his country until being honorably discharged in 1982.
Todd was a Master Electrician and owned and operated TEC Electrical Services for many years. He was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 45 in Meriden and an active member of the Meriden Motorcycle Club. Todd was a talented drummer and was a member of the band Firefly. He also loved animals, especially his late beloved cats, Parker and Kiki.
Todd was predeceased by his parents, Robert H. Camp and Joanne (Zablocky) Camp and is survived by three siblings, Kenneth Camp of San Francisco, California, Robert Camp Jr. of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and Deborah Camp of E. Haddam, Connecticut. He leaves behind his fiancé of 12 years, Bernadette Plescia of Plantsville and her children, Nicholas, Karianne, Joseph and Vincenzo. He is also survived by Charlie and Seth Tucker, who he lovingly mentored over the years, and by many dear friends.
Memorial flowers may be sent to his sister, Deborah Camp, or to the funeral home. Donations in Todd’s memory may be made to the John J. Nerden Camp (http://www.campnerden.com/) or to a HC Wilcox Tech Scholarship Fund c/o his sister Deborah Camp.
A memorial service followed by military honors will be celebrated at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Plantsville Funeral Home, 975 S. Main St., Plantsville.
