Troy Durham, Jr 89 of Laurinburg, North Carolina answered the master's call and entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024

A Service to honor His life and legacy will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the hour 11:00 AM at the Lawrence Jackson Funeral Home Chapel, 211 North Main Street, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352.
Troy Durham, Jr. was born March 1, 1935 in Selma, North Carolina To Troy Durham, Sr. and Jessie Alton Reid. Troy enjoyed walking, cutting a rug, riding bikes, playing bingo and could not get enough of His old western shows. He always kept a smile on his face and loved his family wholeheartedly.
Troy retired from the North Carolina State Department (25) years of service. He was a faithful member of the Kingdom Life International Ministry where He served as a dedicated Usher Board member for several years. He also was honored and acknowledged as the Father of the Church. Although He was quiet spoken, His wisdom and knowledge was imparted into the lives of all of the Members there. Although He is gone, His memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents and his late wife.
He leaves behind the following: Five Children: Josh Durham, Loretta Durham, Anthony Durham and Shawn Gibson all of Laurinburg, North Carolina; Sanya Patterson (Michael) of Lexington, NC.: Five grandchildren: Timothy Durham (Regina),Laurinburg, NC, LeKisha Durham,,Shaquana Bauer and Keyonna Franklin, all of Charlotte, NC: Jamal Thomas of Fayetteville, NC; Nine Great Grandchildren
Troy lived a long happy life. He was a blessing to have and will truly be missed.
