Trula Dye Obituary

Trula Ann Dye, age 73, of Raven, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at her home.
Trula was born on March 3, 1952 in Richlands, VA, and was the daughter of the late Robert Warren Shelton and Laura Ann Hurt Shelton. She was a retired cook from the King Kone Restaurant and then later worked as a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of New Life Ministries and was a lifelong resident of the area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Morgan Dye, Jr.; daughter, Pamela Lynn Bell Dye; sisters, Connie Hill, Barbara Dye, and Oma Gay Hess; and brothers, Michael Shelton.

Funeral services for Trula Ann Dye will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at New Life Ministries at 315 Lodge St; Pounding Mill, Virginia with Rev. David Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands, Virginia. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Friday evening at the church.
