Obituary published on Legacy.com by Megrue-Price Funeral Home - Superior on Feb. 22, 2025.
Tucker Michael Sibert, formerly of
Superior, Nebraska, tragically passed away in a car accident near Oshkosh, NE on February 14, 2025, just six days after his 41st birthday. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and a loyal friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.
Born February 9, 1984 to Michael Sibert and Connie (Miller) Bernhardson, Tucker lived his life with a big heart and an infectious smile. As the oldest of three, he never let his little sisters forget who the 'favorite' was. After high school, he proudly served his country with honor in the U.S. Navy, carrying with him the values of hard work, loyalty, and dedication he gained from his small-town roots. In 2010 he married Hollie Rein, and later adopted their son Ashton. Nothing made him prouder than seeing Ashton chase his ambitions.
Tucker was the kind of person who made an impression - his warm spirit, quick wit and easygoing nature left no one untouched. He worked hard, played harder, lived fully, and never knew a stranger. Whether he was behind the wheel of a truck, casting a line into the water, or singing along to his favorite Garth Brooks song, he embraced life with an undeniable spirit and never took things too seriously.
Tucker was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Donna Sibert of Superior. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and son; parents Mike and Cindy Sibert of Superior, and Connie and Paul Bernhardson of Lincoln, NE; his sisters and nephews TJ Sibert and Cooper (Ehlers) of Superior, Trista Sibert and Rory of Lincoln, NE, Shayna Balletta and Gino of Bellevue, NE; maternal grandparents Allen and Roselyn Miller of Osceola, NE; many many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as an abundance of friends.
A celebration of Tucker's life will be held at the Superior Country Club on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11am to 2pm with Military Honors conducted at 12:00 pm. In true Tucker fashion, guests are encouraged to come as they are - just as he would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the family, in care of Megrue-Price Funeral Home, PO Box 282,
Superior, NE., for a future Vo-Ag scholarship.
Though gone too soon, his memory will live on in every joke shared, every air guitar strummed, and every moment spent in the great outdoors.
