He is missed by his wife of almost 48 years Sylvia, his three children Christian, Cornelia and Daniel, as well as their partners Yulia, Nick and Ariane, and his grandchildren Lexie and Asher.
For over 40 years, Udo dedicated his career in the pharmaceutical industry to developing medications for difficult-to-treat diseases, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and compassion that touched countless lives.
Beyond his work, Udo had a deep passion for travel, exploring the world and embracing adventures by land and sea. Whether cruising to distant shores or capturing breathtaking landscapes through the lens of his camera, Udo found beauty and inspiration in every corner of life. His love for photography allowed him to capture life's most precious moments, preserving memories that will live on for generations.
Above all, Udo was a loving husband and father who always placed his family first. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support were constants in the lives of those he loved, and his greatest joy was found in time spent with his family.
Today, we gather not to mourn, but to celebrate a life filled with curiosity, love, creativity, and adventure. We invite you to share your memories and stories as we honor the man who meant so much to so many.
