With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Veronica Saunders, who left this world far too soon on March 8, 2025, at the young age of 58. She was a devoted daughter to James and Joyce, a cherished sister to Greg, Chris, and Cathy, and a beloved sister-in-law to Andrea and Mario. She was also a loving aunt to Kevin, Sarah, Joshua, and Jenny, and a devoted godmother to Michael and Tatiana.
Veronica had a sparkling personality that could light up any room. Her beautiful speaking voice was as captivating as her poetic soul-she was a true poet, finding beauty in words and the world around her. A passionate traveler and art collector, she appreciated the finer details of life and never missed a chance to admire the wonder in everyday moments.
A lifelong lover of laughter, she found joy in comedians and had an infectious laugh that could brighten even the darkest of days. Her love for cats was unmatched-she adored her feline companions and found comfort in their presence. Whether rescuing, caring for, or simply admiring them, she had a special place in her heart for her cats.
Veronica's kindness, creativity, and love for life will be dearly missed but forever cherished by those who knew her. Though she has left this world, her spirit remains in the beauty she saw, the art she loved, the laughter she shared, and in the gentle purrs of her cats she adored.
Rest in peace, dear Veronica. Your voice, your laughter, and your light will never be forgotten.
