Violet McColley Obituary

Violet Louise McColley, 85, of Carthage passed away Saturday July 24, 2021 in Greenfield, IN. She was born February 2, 1936 in Kentucky to the late Labe and Helen (Spence) Logan.
An employee of the State Bank of Carthage, Violet retired after 20 years of service in 1985. She was a member of Greenfield Church of God where she taught Sunday school and was director of VBS for many years. Violet enjoyed needle work, cooking, reading, journaling and was a local history buff. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by 3 sons, Terry McColley of Indianapolis, Rickie (Cherie) McColley of Lewisville and Daryle McColley of Jacksonville, FL; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Bernita Fouts of Hutchins, TX and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. McColley and a son Dale McColley
Services will be Saturday July 31, 2021 at 4:00 pm at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until time of the service.
