Travis Bice Obituary

Travis Glen Bice, age 80, of Lynden, WA passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Born on Jan 2, 1945, in Belvedere, Township, CA to Aubrey Lorus Bice and Dorothy Marie Middlebooks of California, Travis entered the world with a love for people, especially his family. He grew up in Oklahoma, California, and Texas before he joined the U.S. Navy on August 10, 1962 in Albuquerque, NM. Later to be stationed in Whidbey Island, WA until he was honorably discharged on April 29, 1966.

Travis remained in Washington and took on employment at Intalco Aluminum Corporation. After 40 years of dedicated service, he retired in 2010.

Travis had several hobbies and interests. His first love was his hotrods, specifically his yellow '39 Chevrolet Coupe. He also enjoyed gardening, tending to chickens, road trips, hotrod car shows, auctions, and hunting with his best friend Niel Coffelt (they were both thick as thieves). Genealogy was another big interest of his. Travis always kept in touch with family, which made it possible for everyone to stay connected.

Travis leaves this life with a loving and devoted wife of 18 years Jeri Gilmore; son Glenn Bice; granddaughter Delaynee Bice; great-grandson Cordell; sister Sheila (Danny) Sanders of Lubbock TX; step-granddaughters Hailey (John) Hopkins, Taysia (Ryan) Seiler and their children Riley and Logan; step-children Kari "Angel" Adam and her partner Erin Richardson, Brandi (John) Wiley and their two sons Logan and Drew, Dustin (Greg) Adam and their two sons Chase and Josh; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins from all over.

Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother Dalton Bice, niece Sarah Sanders, and twin nephews Johnny Bice and Travis Bice.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Oct 11th from 1- 4 p.m. at 1724 Haveman Rd. Lynden, WA 98264.
