Walter Fleming Obituary
Walter received his Bachelor's Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He worked for Chevrolet and thirty five years for CSX Transportation. Walter was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Middleburg, FL, MENSA and the American Society of Safety Engineers. He also enjoyed reading, history, learning, loved watching TV and studying current events.
Family members preceding Walter in death are his parents; son, Mark Fleming; grandmother, Bertha Robinson and uncle, Evertt Lewis.
Surviving Walter is his loving wife, Nancy Fleming; son, Craig Fleming; grandchildren, Brandy Reyes, Cassandra Stefanik and Leanne Fleming; great-grandchildren, Brenden Fleming, Abagail Hun, Heather Hun, Bridgete Hun, Falynn Reyes, Lucas Reyes, Bentley Stefanik and Carleigh Stefanik, and a host of other family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1614 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, Florida, 32068.

I knew Walter first when I was a young boy. He was a young married man raising two sons on Braile street in Detroit. I recall that he was interested in cool cars. I knew a BMW 2002, and an early sixties Buick. Later on, and still today, when I see a great Dane, I think of him. He was always kind to me, and I liked and admired his confidence. He will be missed.
