Warren Perkins Obituary

Warren Russell Perkins, 69, Georgetown, IN passed away in the early hours of Saturday, September 21st, 2024 surrounded by family at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, IN. He was born on November 6th, 1954 in New Albany, IN to the late James Perkins and ElvaEtta (Bezy) Perkins. Warren was owner and operator of the Sav-A-Step #41 in Palmyra, Indiana for over 30 years. He was a member of the NRA, Dayspring Emmaus Community, the IU Foundation, and an active member of the Crossroads Community Church.
Warren was an avid outdoorsman, a faithful Christian, and a devoted family man. He was a huge IU fan and loved attending games with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by; sister, Mary Branham; and a brother-in-law, Alvin Brown.
Left to cherish his memory; loving wife of 51 blessed years, Glenda (Burks) Perkins; daughter, Carey Seay; son, Kevin Perkins (Rachel); grandchildren, Blayne Perkins, Gabriel Perkins, Clara Seay, and Katie Seay; brothers, Wayne Perkins (Becky) and Gerald Perkins (Susan); sisters, Barbara Johnson (Eddie) and Linda Brown; Godson, Kyle Cristiani (Ally); Goddaughter, LeighAnn Campbell (James) and Chris, Mandy, and Logan Rakes.
Visitation will be held at the Market Street Chapel of the Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes on Wednesday, September 25th from 2 PM – 8 PM. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, September 26th at the Crossroads Community Church located at 2248 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN from 10 AM – 11 AM with the funeral service to begin at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Park.
