Wendy Browning Obituary

Wendy Gay Browning, age 81, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her home. She was born in Rockbridge, VA, on September 25, 1943, to the late Leonard and Ruth Clements. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Wayne Browning, and grandson, Charles Forest Wright. She was a member of Fairview Community Church. She is survived by her children, John and Darlene Wright, Jean Wright Lantz, Jeffrey Wright (Faith Stanger), Joey Wright; grandchildren, Brandi Wimer (Troy), Brittany Rose (Rome), Ashley Wright, Brandon Barton (Tabitha), Taylor Wright, Jacob Wright (Katie), Adam Eagle (Melissa), Bryan Elliott (Sara), Zack Elliott; several great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Clements; as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg, with Pastor Vernon Dalton officiating.
