William (Kenny) Kenneth Faunce Sr., 82, of Brandywine, MD, passed away on September 9, 2024.
Kenny was born on July 29, 1942, to the late Henry Selby Faunce Sr. and Agnes Theodores Ridgell Faunce.
He married his beloved wife of 59 years, Margaret (Peggy), on October 17, 1964. Together they had one beautiful son and later two grandchildren.
Kenny was an avid baseball/softball player and fan. In his High School years, he played on the school baseball team for Gwynn Park. As an adult, he continued to play for many other baseball and softball teams throughout the years. Kenny also had a love for playing billiards and cards. After 33 years of dedication, Kenny retired from the United States Postal Service in 1997. Kenny enjoyed spending lots of time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; he especially loved attending his grandson's baseball games. After retirement, Kenny enjoyed tending to his yard. In his free time, he took pleasure in spending time on the water, fishing, crabbing, and going to the beach.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife Margaret (Peggy), and their son, William Kenneth Faunce Jr. (Theresa) of Mechanicsville, MD. In addition to his wife and son, Kenny is survived by his two beautiful grandchildren, William Kenneth Faunce III (Destiny) of Mechanicsville MD, and Brandi Marie Faunce of Mechanicsville, MD. Kenny is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Ava Marie Faunce and Dalton James Faunce.
In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his brother, Henry Selby Faunce Jr.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
