William "Odell" Jenkins, 87, of Macon, MO, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Clarence Care Center in Clarence, MO.
Odell was born on January 6, 1937, in Bevier, MO, the son of Loren and Mary (Winkler) Jenkins. He was united in marriage to Sandy Rogers in September of 1968. Odell was a mechanic, owner/operator truck driver along side with his wife Sandy and loved to travel across country. His passion was motorcycles and his little dog Red. Odell was self-taught in many aspects of his life and there wasn't much he couldn't do when he set his mind to it.
Odell is survived by his step son, Wallace Waller of Florida; three grandchildren, Christa Patterson and her husband Scott of Lubbock, TX, Ragan Crossland and his wife Rachel of Oklahoma City, OK, and Justina Winfield of Ashland, MO; ten great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Cash Patterson of Lubbock, TX, Ava, Emery, Tate and Tripp Crossland of Oklahoma City, OK, and Kermie Gail, Caney, Rowdy and Willow Anderson of Ashland, MO; his nephew, David Jenkins and his wife Julie; his niece, Eldona Wieberg and her husband Tom; and several other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sandy, his daughter, Diane Hultz, and two brothers, Johnny Royer and Loren "Eldon" Jenkins.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Graveside services will be noon, Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville, KS.
