WILLIAM F. JENNINGS, SR., 75, of Valdosta died Friday, December 9, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 8, 1930 to the late Felix Tillman and Sarah Harvey Jennings and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mr. Jennings was a Baptist and a veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea. He was retired from the Seaboard Coastline Railroad.

Survivors include three sons, Felix Tillman Jennings, IV of Norman Park, David Uriah Jennings of Valdosta and William F. Jennings, Jr. of Brunswick, two grandsons, Timothy Tillman Jennings of Norman Park and Tyler Harper Jennings of Ray City, one sister, Ann Simmons of Fayetteville, NC. and one brother, James "J.J." Jennings of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his Janell Walker Jennings.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, December 11, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4pm, Sunday at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
