Marnie, Kathy, Bobbie, Beth and their families,
My deepest condolences to you all for the loss of your partner, father, grandfather and friend.
To my dear cousins, you already know there is nothing that can prepare you to be suddenly in life without one of your parents, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have a special place in my heart for my Uncle Bill whose correct, military\principal bearing did not negate the fact that he was warm-hearted, caring and knew how to talk to a kid and make you feel seen and heard. Walks with my Uncle Bill are fond memories for me - including probably our last walk through their Metuchen neighborhood in January 1998, my last stop on my way to the Middle East and a whole new life.
At a time and place in life in which I am learning more deeply the importance of family and people who have touched your life - I am so grateful for my wonderful family, including my Uncle Bill, whose love and interest in me as a young person has stayed with me to this day.
Love to my New Jersey family
Tara
