William Mashburn Obituary

MR. WILLIAM CARY MASHBURN was born in Mobile, AL to the union of the late Mr. Eugene "Blu" and Mrs. Margaret (nee Bunch) Mashburn. He loved airplanes and jets, and he had a great affection for the Navy. His love for the Navy was due to it being the military branch of which his father was a member.
Mr. Mashburn's hobbies included football and NASCAR. Now, with NASCAR, he had high respect for anything made by Ford Motor Company. His favorite football team was the Green Bay Packers.
After completing school, he was a truck driver his entire life. Mr. Mashburn started with Northern Electric in Waynesboro. In the beginning, he started working with trailers, and later, he was promoted to driving trucks. This promotion followed him his entire working life.
On the evening of October 21, 2024, Mr. Mashburn's earthly trek was completed in exchange for his life in eternity. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: baby Cary Mashburn and James Kenny Mashburn, and two brothers: Ronald Eugene Mashburn and Jeffrey Stewart Mashburn.
He is survived by his wife, Marianne Mashburn.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Chicora-Davis Cemetery, with Bro. David Roberson officiating.
