It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Zachery Wayne Schnayer, age 29, of Antioch, IL. He was born on Thursday, March 23, 1995, in Hinsdale to Wayne A. Schnayer, Jr. and Bevann Hamill.
Zachery was a kind and devoted individual who cherished spending time with his friends. He had a passion for working on cars. Known for his occasional but perfectly timed jokes, Zach had a gift for lightening the mood and bringing smiles to those around him. He loved his son, Noah, who was the light of his life. Zachery will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Zachery is survived by his parents; a son, Noah; sister, Lauren (Rene) Chavez; maternal grandmother, Beverly Hamill; paternal grandmother, Donna L. Schnayer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Nicole Rodriguz; paternal grandparents, Wayne A. Schnayer, Sr. in 2023; and maternal grandfather, John P. (Sonny) Hamill.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until the 5:00 p.m. service at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL 60081.
Donations to Noah's education fund would be greatly appreciated.
